The End of the Blog

And so there is not much more to say.

The following day we travelled back to the hotel in Arusha, where most of the group dispersed. The rest of us met up for a final dinner together and said our goodbyes.

On the Saturday we got a taxi from the hotel to Arusha airport. This was a very tiny airport, where we would get our domestic flight to Zanzibar then Dar es Salaam.

At Dar Es Salaam we transferred to Doha, where we had a final stock up on Whittaker's chocolate, before our final leg home.

We arrived back at London Gatwick at 7am on the 4th of August.

And that's the end of the blog. Thanks for putting up with our ramblings, we hope that you enjoyed it. The plan is that we will print this out and keep it as a record of our travels.

It's taken us four weeks to finish the blog, we've had time to do some job hunting ect.. I (David) am returning to Niftylift in Milton Keynes and Joanna is going to look for some vet nursing in the area. Thank you for keeping up to date with our travels david@landymann.co.uk.

Lots of Love

David and Joanna

p.s. This blog may be resurrected for any future holidays, but no promises.
