We packed up our campsite and headed around an hour north to the other side of Brisbane to catch up with Doug and his wife Pam, I (David) worked with Doug in New Zealand, they're over in Australia for a month at the moment and have a boat which they used to live on full time. We had a cup of tea and then took the boat out with them in Moreton Bay. Before we did that we went for a short walk, 'the water's not that cold' said Joanna although she got out quickly again...
As we have now reached the 'sunshine state' of Queensland, it is amusing passing the locals. At 20 degrees, we are in shorts and t-shirts, but the locals who still claim that it is winter have several more layers on.
Beautiful weather for boating
On the water
After lunch we said our goodbyes and headed for the glasshouse mountains.
Till Next time
