Day 185
Was a very boring day in which we mostly drove from Budgewoi to Moonie Beach, 456km and didn't take any photos, once we arrived at Moonie Beach we found a lovely campground and wished that we had more time to explore the area, while it was getting dark we went for a walk and saw lots of fish in the river, including a ray and a flat fish and took a walk out to a headland and could see the Solitary Islands and the light house blinking out from them.
The next morning we retraced our steps and took some photos. This included fish in the river and a real concrete trig point, this is one of the good points of Australaia, unlike New Zealand who use wooden ones.

We then continued our long drive to Brisbane, we stopped at Maclean in New South Wales to purchase some lunch supplies, Maclean promotes it's self as a Scottish town, although we didn't pick up much of the vibe it was a lovely small town. While procuring lunch supplies we also bought a Milo Ice cream, Milo is a New Zealand & Australian institution, most commonly found in drink form, a cross between Ovaltine and chocolate Nesquik, when made with cold milk it has a lovely crunchy layer on top. Milo can also be found as a breakfast cereal or cereal bar. The Ice cream tastes just like the drink and hit the spot. We enjoyed it at a view point where we could also see the progress of the new highway under construction.

We arrived at our campsite in the south of Brisbane before heading north to meet up with a colleague from New Zealand.
Till Next time
